We know that in the shabbat blessings in each Amidah, the words בה, and בו, and בם are used during Maariv, Shacharit, and Mincha, respectively. The reason given is that each word correlates to a different time period
My question- I remember hearing that there’s some popular joke about why there’s a difference with the בה, בו, and בם. Something to do with the wife staying home from shul on shabbat and maybe the man sleeping in in the morning, and the rest I don’t really know. Anyone ever heard this “joke reason” for the difference in the language?
